Endorsement Program Handbook

Endorsement Program Overview

Take your teaching expertise to the next level with an endorsement from City University of Seattle.

CityU offers online endorsement programs in high need areas, providing an opportunity for teachers to deepen their classroom skills and increase their toolbox of strategies for teaching to a highly diverse student population.

Candidates may add an endorsement to a Washington state teaching certificate by completing the required courses in a plan of study. Most endorsement courses are offered online. However, some courses in the Elementary Education endorsement series may require on-site attendance for one course per quarter.

The Practicum must be completed in person in a school in Washington.
