Important Note about Citation Generators

Free citation tools to help you access your saved sources and references from anywhere online. Citation builders generate APA-formatted references from user-submitted information such as author, date, and publication title. While citation builders are convenient, they are not always accurate. Always check your references and citations for APA errors--this includes when using citation generators within library databases.

Zotero allows you to export your chosen citations into a reference list formatted according to APA 7. Please read the note about citation generators above as there are often errors in exported citations.

Follow these steps to export a reference list:

1. Select the articles you want to include in your reference list.

2. Right click on the items and select "Create Bibliography from items"

3. Choose your citation style (APA 7).

4. Save your reference page on your computer.
